Where It Begins
The day starts at Vetta Nordic Spa, conveniently located near Horshoe Valley Resort, nestled in the picturesque countryside of Barrie. Every guest needs to check in and collect their passes at the spa before joining any of the planned activities across the venues.
Spa Activities
Upon arrival, guests are provided with a Defender House sheet listing the activities available at Vetta Nordic Spa. Starting promptly at 9 AM for guest arrivals, breakfast and smoothies are available. Guests can then also book their desired activities for the day.
Below is a list of activities available throughout the day at Vetta Nordic Spa:
Massages, Yoga & Sound Bath Meditation, Finnish Spa Experience, Chef Michael (Kota Grill), Liquid Nitrogen Ice Cream, Latte Art, Food & Beverage, Additional F&B Offerings, Rimowa Vehicle Display, Hugo Boss Display by Sharp, Breitling Display by Sharp, and a Dalmore Whiskey Display.
Discover Defender
Once you feel you have spent enough time relaxing and experiencing all of the carefully curated Defender-specific Vetta Nordic Spa activities, you can then hop into a Defender shuttle to head over to Boots and Hearts and experience the other half of the amazing day that Land Rover has planned.
Customers were also offered the chance to take a Defender of their choice on a test drive in the local area near the spa. There was an assortment of trim levels on display, ranging from 110s to 130s, V8s, and more!
Defender Off-Road Adventure
Only a short 20-minute drive from Vetta Nordic Spa, the second half of the excitement awaited. Guests of the Defender House experience were encouraged to participate in the driving experience and were even given the chance to drive the Defender themselves through the off-road course.
This provided Defender owners and guests of the Defender House event with the opportunity to experience the Defender in the most adverse conditions, conquering massive obstacles such as rocks, dirt mounds, pools of water, and log bridges. Each feature on the course was meticulously designed to showcase every aspect of the Defender’s capabilities, including Wade Depth, 3D Surround Camera, approach and departure angles, ground clearance, brake-over angles, and so much more.
VIP Acess
Since the guests picked up their passes at the Spa earlier in the day, they were given VIP passes for the Boots and Hearts festival. These passes include exciting activities for music fans and offer a comfortable Boots and Hearts experience.
Right off the bat, attendees were granted backstage access to the concert, creating an unforgettable experience. If your preference leans towards kicking back from a distance and unwinding, a special Defender VIP Suite awaited you on the right side of the stage. This prime spot offered an excellent view of live performers and livestreams. Plus, within this area, a variety of food and beverages were readily available to keep you fueled for hours of entertainment.
There were meet and greets with some of the performers, along with face painting, relaxation zones, and many other activities. It was the perfect way to conclude the day—enjoying live music from a balcony that overlooked the entire venue while watching the sunset.
